Sunflower Microbakery was born from a deep love of cooking, baking, and creating food that makes people feel comforted, cared for, and genuinely happy. For me, food has always been more than something to eat — it is a way to connect, to nurture, and to make everyday life feel a little more special.
Before beginning this chapter, I worked as a psychiatric nurse, where compassion, patience, and caring for others were at the center of everything I did. That same heart now carries into this bakery. I truly love making things by hand, feeding people well, and bringing warmth into their lives through thoughtful, beautiful food.
After recently moving to the area, starting Sunflower Microbakery has become a meaningful way to put down roots, meet my community, and share something personal with the people around me. Every order is made with intention, care, and the hope that it brings a little joy to someone’s day.
I am also a mother and a wife, and so much of what inspires this bakery comes from home: cozy mornings, family traditions, comforting recipes, and the simple happiness of seeing people smile when they take that first bite of something made with love.
Sunflower Microbakery is the beginning of a much bigger dream — to one day own a bakery of my very own. Until then, this little microbakery is my way of building something special from the ground up, one beautiful bake at a time.
